Our Work and Commissions
My name is Marcela Ruppli-Juin and I am an artist and previous Manager at our Studio and Gallery in Locarno, which closed its doors last February 2024. My work is mostly commission based and unique each time, and includes: paintings (on canvas, walls and objects) and objects created by myself, be it with wood, paper, bark, and other materials.

Tree of Hope

Work commissioned by Mission Earth First as a symbol of their founding partners and partners to come. It shows crown and roots as if "nacked", the wooden circle symbolizes the Earth surface. The tree appears to be suspended in the structure. Glow in the dark Paper Maché leaves can be added as partners join this endeavor. Miniature LED lights are attached to the end of the roots symbol of bringing light into the underground.
