Popular coulture has raised Frida in many instances almost into a cult. This painting shows her  with a glow ... as the image of many saints, and in particular as the Mexican Guadalupe Virgen, which was without a doubt a key figure in her upbringing. It is without a doubt one of the popular symbols she enjoyed having at home.
