RECULTURARTE - Mexican Alebrijes

Join this Mexican Alebrijes RECULTURARTE* Make & Learn course of 5 session, once a week, each 2h30min. You will learn about Alebrijes: unique Mexican handy-crafts. Marcela will share with you the technique she uses to create these extraordinary colorful statuettes made of wire and papier mâché primarily.

In the first session we introduce the history and tradition of Alebrijes, and start our basic structure. 3 to 4 sessions are dedicated to the creation of the Alebrije and one to two sessions to decorating it with Acrylic colors.

In the process we will boost your intuition and confidence to a new level in a fun, dynamic way.

Price includes all materials, and a small snack and something to drink (non-alcoholic).

Make sure to bring comfortable clothes that can get dirty. We will provide an apron if you don’t bring your own.

This event is led and instructed in English (German, Spanish, and French, or very basic Italian are also possible) and is designed for adults, although older teens are also welcome (above 15 years old).  

Payment can currently be done in person with cash, Credit Card or TWINT. In future we will be able to offer online payment.
