Originally from Canton Ticino, Switzerland, Alice graduated as a Geologist from the University of Fribourg, and has always been passionate about art. Love for the planet is her source of inspiration, animals and nature in general become her main subjects.

 

"I paint them to show not only their beauty, but also their vulnerability," and to create awareness about their precarious situation on the planet due to habitat destruction.

Fantastic creatures have also inspired her artistic work, ever since she began reading stories to her young child, "I want to combine my passion for art with a desire to make children happy and provide them with stimulating learning opportunities. I recently published my first picture book, titled The Travel Diary."
